If you cannot connect to OpenVPN using your Windows 8 or higher versions, you may want to do any of these to fix the problem:
Option 1: Make sure you followed the VPN Setup Instructions HERE.
Option 2: Delete your current VPN Profile then recreate. Still make sure you followed setup instructions HERE.
d. Reboot your device.
e. Try to connect via OpenVPN again before opening any application.
